E-Cycle Washington Recycling Program

E-Cycle Washington is a free electronics recycling program for Washington State. This program supports a Washington State law that requires electronic manufacturers to pay for recycling these items. You should not be charged when using a E-Cycle Washington drop off location. There might be a charge for pickup or mail in recycling service.

Many electronics and computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers that this program does not accept can be recycled at Best Buy.

Check for local recycling events. Many municipalities and organizations have local recycling events which can be really convenient.

To find an E-Cycle Washington participating company check out https://ecyclewa.org/. The website has a look up option to find the nearest locations that participate in program and do not charge a fee. In Seattle, Goodwill stores are often the most convenient location. RE-PC and Friendly Earth International Recycling Company are options in SODO.

Search for electronics recycling locations at http://1800recycle.wa.gov/. Not all of these locations are part of the Washington E-Cycle program and might charge a fee.
