South King Tool Library
South King Tool Library is located in Federal Way. The tool library provides access to tools and other items that you can check out to use for a short time period. The basic membership is free and you can borrow up to 5 items. There are additional memberships that allow you to borrow more items. Deposits are required for items with a replacement value of over $250. Items vary from basic tools to kitchen supply items and many more items.
They are not only a tool library but hold many recycling events and classes throughout the year. Events include:
- Clothing swaps
- Game & puzzle swaps
- Repair Cafes
- Recycling events: electronics, textile, Styrofoam, tires, paper shredding, appliances etc.
