University District Recycling & Paper Shredding Event
Free recycling event for Seattle residents in the University District at the University of Washington, Parking Area W12. Recycle items that are difficult to recycle.
Accepted items:
- Fluorescent tubes and bulbs (limit 4 ft)
- Household batteries
- Small electronics (TVs, computers etc.)
- Small, empty propane camping canisters
- Small appliances (non-Freon, microwaves, toasters etc.)
- Paper for shredding (4 box limit)
- Stryrofoam
- Household textiles – clothing, shoes, curtains etc.
- Paint (both latex and oil based, limit 5 gallons)
