TVs are recycleable at several locations. There are often electronics events where television sets can be recycled. The state of Washington reimburses drop off locations so it should now be free to drop off a tv at a recycle location. If your tv still works, consider giving it to someone. Someone without a tv will love your old tv! Post an ad on freecycle.org or craiglist.org if you don't know someone who needs a tv.
